4th Grade Reading and Math
Students who are identified as having a Strong or Very Strong need (refer to paperwork that was sent home about identification if you're not sure) are pulled out of the general education classroom during 4th grade's Intervention time to receive services with me, the AIG teacher. This is a time the 4th grade teachers have set aside to remediate or enrich students in certain areas.
Reading: Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:20-2:00
Math: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:20-2:00
Students that were identified as having a Moderate need receive differentiation services in the regular classroom. I consult with the teacher and offer resources to help them meet the students' needs.
5th Grade Reading
Students who are identified as having a Strong or Very Strong need (refer to paperwork that was sent home about identification if you're not sure) are pulled out of the general education classroom during 5th grade's Intervention time. This is a time the 5th grade teachers set apart during the day to remediate or enrich students in certain areas.
Monday-Friday 3:05-3:35
Students that were identified as having a Moderate need receive differentiation services in the regular classroom. I consult with the teacher and offer resources to help them meet the students' needs.
5th Grade Math
5th grade students identified as Strong or Very Strong will receive services through having me, the AIG teacher, as their main math teacher. This means they will not go to a 5th grade teacher for math, but all assignments and grades come from our time together. Please see the 5th Math tab for more information about this.
Monday-Friday 2:00-3:05
If students are identified as having a Moderate need in math they will receive services through differentiation with their regular teacher. I consult with the teacher and offer resources to help them meet the students' needs.
